How Could a Fish So Ugly, Taste So Amazing!

Caught in the local waters south of Block Island, monkfish tails have a firm white meat that is often compared to lobster. It is a very versatile fish that can be used on the grill, sautéed, or my favorite is when Chef Edgar Cobena stuffs with lobster and avocado then wraps it in bacon! While wrapping it in bacon does make the dish less healthy, Monkfish itself provides a number of health benefits. It is high in vitamins B-6 and B-12 both essential for brain health and it is also one of the more lean protein fish containing just 3.3 grams of fat per 6 oz serving. Next time you are in experience how beautiful something so ugly can taste, you will be blown away!
