Thank you for your continued support of our restaurant, servers, kitchen staff, and vendors during an unprecedented time. Your nights dining on the patio, orders to go, and catering in your home, have meant the world to us!

Mystic is booming this time of year, so give yourself a little extra time to get here, especially on weekends. For the health & safety of our guests, we no longer offer high chairs or booster seats.

Reservations for lunch and dinner may be made in advance anytime! Reservations are limited and necessary, especially on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays where most of our favorite tables are requested 10 to 14 days in advance. Walk-ins are always welcome!

Looking for a cozy night on your couch with S&P? Our S&P Mobile To Go offerings are here on the website. You’ll be able to order all your favorite dishes online for pick-up!

Entertaining this weekend? May we suggest S&P In Your Home, larger quantities of your favorites perfectly portioned for when your house guests extend their stay or for any celebration that happens on the spur of the moment. Please call 24 hours in advance to place your order. Our S&P In Your Home Menu has been created for 6 people or more!

Edgar Cobena

Executive Chef Edgar Cobena adds a South American flair to his dishes by creating a perfect blend of zesty seasonings and authentic seafood. Originally from Ecuador and professionally trained at the Culinary Institute of America, Executive Chef Edgar Cobena has been delighting the palates of his customers at S&P Oyster for over 22 years! With the help of a talented kitchen staff, Executive Chef Edgar Cobena is able to blend local, fresh seafood with traditional favorites.

Farm & Sea to Table

Mystic Fresh means working with the best of the best here in Southeastern Connecticut and Southern Rhode Island. While many others claim to be Farm to Table, acknowledging that we are Mystic Fresh makes it the standard.  Quite simply, if we don’t have the freshest seafood or cuts of beef, we won’t create the dish that night.

    “By far the most thoughtful and creative Covid conscious restaurant I have seen yet. So lovely. Outside they have beautiful heat lamps all around, tables a good distance from each other and on top of that they offer tables with fire pits inside of them so you can sit around and stay warm. The staff is exceptional and thinks of it all. The food was so great. Made coming out to eat such a treat considering we don't do it all that often anymore.”

    The best seafood restaurant! We had dinner here on Saturday night and it was so good that we went back for lunch on Sunday. The oysters were delicious, both raw and fried. Clam chowder was excellent. Both the risotto special and the shrimp risotto were delicious. We enjoyed the seafood ambrosia so much that we can’t wait to return to Mystic.
